‘Nashville’ Season 3 Spoilers: ‘Project Runway’ Season 13 Designer Amanda Valentine To Guest Star In Episode 2
“Project Runway” fans might want to tune into “Nashville” Season 3 episode 2. One designer is making the transition from reality TV to scripted drama. Amanda Valentine from Season 11 and Season 13 of the Lifetime reality competition will be guest starring on the ABC drama.
Valentine's role is short, sweet and relatively familiar. She will play Alissa, the stylist for Juliette Barnes’ tour. However Juliette isn’t quite focused on touring yet. She wants something to wear to her Patsy Cline biopic screen test. That isn’t exactly something Valentine's character is prepared for.
Juliette Barnes wouldn’t be Valentine’s first country star client. She has been a stylist on music videos for Taylor Swift, Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert and Little Big Town, according to her website.
The designer is currently competing on “Project Runway” Season 13. This marks Amanda Valentine's second time on the show. She originally was eliminated in Season 11, but fans voted to bring her back to the show for the 2014 season.
No reference to Valentine's “Project Runway” history is made, but she is a Nashville-based designer. ABC’s “Nashville” films in the real Music City and utilizes real locations and musicians, and apparently they’re adding fashion designers to that list.
Though she is currently in the top six on "Project Runway," the designer has worked a lot outside of the reality show workroom. Her clothing line Valentine Valentine has earned her plenty of recognition in Nashville. Nashville Scene awarded her the title “Best Fashion Designer” in 2012 and 2013, and she has worked as a stylist on shows like CMT’s “Crossroads” and the Country Music Awards.
“Nashville” Season 3 episode 2 airs Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC, and “Project Runway” Season 13 airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on Lifetime. Are you excited to see Amanda try acting? Sound off in the comments section below!
