‘Nashville’ Season 4 Spoilers: Daphne Learns Teddy Is A Criminal; Watch Sneak-Peek Videos From Episode 3
Parenting isn’t easy for any of the characters in “Nashville” Season 4. In sneak-peek videos from episode 3, it’s clear that Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) is still struggling with postpartum depression and running away from her family. Meanwhile, Teddy (Eric Close) tries to comfort his daughter Daphne (Maisy Stella) from prison and realizes how his crimes have affected his kids.
Sneak Peek No. 1
In episode 2, Juliette deceived Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and made it seem like she wanted to be a family again. However, she quickly abandoned her husband and daughter after a quick photo op. In the sneak peek, it looks like Juliette will continue avoiding her problems with the help of Luke (Will Chase).
Juliette and Luke will join forces for a cover of Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation.” It looks very different from the country star’s usual concerts. The small stage and Juliette’s casual outfit indicate that this might be an impromptu performance.
The trouble is that Juliette actually very much cares about her reputation. It looks like she is performing at a bar, and light coming through the window makes it look like it’s daytime. Random performances in bars in the middle of the day are only going to fuel the media reports that she is having trouble at home.

Sneak Peek No. 2
Teddy finally returns to “Nashville” in this episode, but he doesn’t have a happy reunion with his girls. Rayna (Connie Britton) takes Maddie (Lennon Stella) and Daphne to prison to visit Teddy. Daphne is thrilled to see her father, while Maddie remains angry. She won’t even hug her former stepfather.
Daphne explains that she’d been in trouble at school because other kids were talking about Teddy. “You know, I appreciate you standing up for me, I guess, but I can take care of myself, okay?” Teddy says. “There’s nothing you need to do.”
She just wants her dad to come home. Daphne asks when he is getting out, but Teddy still doesn’t have a release date, which frustrates his daughter. “You didn’t do anything wrong,” Daphne says. “Just tell them that. Tell them you didn’t do it.”
Daphne starts crying and Teddy tries to explain that it isn’t so simple. “Did you really do all of those things?” she asks.
“I’m so sorry,” Teddy says. Daphne tries to run out and throws the necklace Teddy gave her to the ground.
