Natasha Bure Denies Claims She's Getting Work Because Of Mom Candace Cameron: 'That's Frustrating'
Natasha Bure wants to clear misconceptions that she is getting acting jobs because of her mom Candance Cameron Bure.
"A lot of people will kind of assume that if I get any job or work at all that it's from her or it's given to me or it's handed to me, and it's honestly quite literally the opposite," the 23-year-old actress said in an interview with Today.
Natasha told critics that she does not rely on her mother to secure acting gigs. Rather, she works hard to build her dreams like other actors.
"I'm out here like everyone else just grinding and trying to follow my dreams and make them come true," she explained. "So, I think that's one misconception that's a little bit frustrating to see."
Natasha appeared in a few of her mother's TV shows like "Make It or Break It," "Fuller House" and "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries." Aside from these, she also starred in the movies "Home Sweet Home," "The Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santaland" and "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story" opposite Heather Locklear. She also played the lead role in the 2019 flick "Faith, Hope and Love."
Aside from acting, Natasha is also a prolific YouTuber with nearly 300,000 subscribers on her channel and over 500,000 followers on her Instagram.
Natasha also opened up about the hardships of being an actor.
"It's a struggle. I am honestly just like every other person out there and I'm just trying to stay on the grind and do my best and continue to keep all the acting chops constantly at work," Natasha told Today. "It's difficult for sure. I grind, but I'm grateful for any opportunity that I get and I'm just trying to work my hardest to get to where I want to be."
While she prefers navigating the industry on her own, the younger Bure still turns to her mom for advice regarding work.
"One of the biggest pieces of advice she's given me, and she gave it to me a while ago, it's to say yes to things that scare you and to really go after things that are out of your comfort zone. Because those are the types of experiences that are really going to push you in your life," she said.
