National Cat Day 2018: Photos, Quotes Celebrating Feline Pets

Every year, United States celebrates Oct. 29 as National Cat Day. The day was started in 2005 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige with an intention to not only honor the feline friends but also to spread awareness about cat adoption.
