National Grandparents Day 2020: Quotes To Appreciate Your Grandmother And Grandfather

National Grandparents Day, which is celebrated annually on the first Sunday after Labor Day in the United States, is an opportunity to spend quality time with them and appreciate their contribution to the family.

The day officially became a holiday in 1979. Though not a public holiday, the day is usually observed by giving gifts and cards to the grandparents. Some schools also have art competitions or story-telling activities to celebrate the day.
