April 12 is National Grilled Cheese Day, and anyone who believes cheese melted between pieces of toasted bread is the best creation ever will be able to take advantage of deals at restaurants all around the United States to celebrate.

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, which are ranked as the number one comfort food in America, are generally delicious no matter how they're served, whether they're a classic simple sandwich, or something more complex and savory with extraordinary add-ons.

California:

American Grilled Cheese Kitchen will be offering $4.00 mousetraps (Tillamook cheddar, creamy Havarti and Monterey Jack on sourdough) all day until 4 p.m. in both San Francisco stores.

New Haven, Connecticut:

Caseus Cheese Truck will be offering classic grilled cheese sandwiches for $3.00.

Saint Petersburg, Florida:

Central Melt will be offering free grilled cheese roll-ups from 2-4 p.m.

New Jersey:

O’Donnell’s Restaurant and Bar in Gloucester City will be giving away complimentary samples of their “The Luck of the Irish” Ham & Grilled Cheese Sandwich during the 3-7 p.m. Happy Hour.

New York:

Cheese Grille will be giving away free grilled cheese sandwiches from 2-8 p.m.

Gorilla Cheese NYC Food Truck will be offering a special sandwich in honor of the holiday for one day only. For $7.00 (or $9.00 with tater tots and a drink), custmers can enjoy a sammie featuring gruyere cheese, tomato, chipotle aioli and Sam Adams Boston Lager-infused caramelized onions.

Melting Point, based in Buffalo, New York, will be offering $1.00 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches all day.

Pennsylvania:

Arooga’s Grille House and Sports Bar is offering a special where patrons can get a free sandwich with the purchase of another one.

Meltkraft’s Reading Terminal Market location in Philadelphia will be offering $5.00 classics all day long

Tennessee:

It's All So Yummy Café in Knoxville, which has a menu featuring 14 different varieties of grilled cheese, celebrates Senior Appreciation Day, meaning any customers age 55+ will be able to take 10 percent off their order. They'll also receive a free coffee.

The Grilled Cheeserie will give you a free sandwich for showing them their social media post about the day.

Dallas, Texas:

Norma's Café will be providing a free regular grilled cheese sandwich to all in-store customers from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Plus, there will be a specialty grilled cheese sandwich for sale in honor of the day.

Across The U.S.:

The Melt is actually celebrating National Grilled Cheese month as a whole, and is holding a sweepstakes. All you have to do to enter is let them know what your favorite grilled cheese sandwich is, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win free melts for an entire year.

Tom & Chee locations will be offering a classic grilled cheese sandwich for $2.00 at participating locations.
