National Margarita Day 2016 Deals: 12 Restaurants Offering Discounted Tequila Cocktails Monday
Monday marks the holiday you've been waiting for all year: National Margarita Day. Whether you take yours with salt or sugar, frozen or on the rocks, you're going to want to kick back with one of the delicious drinks at the end of your workday.
National Margarita Day may be "one of those completely made up and unnecessary holidays that you can't help but love," as the Huffington Post once called it, but it's also a chance for inexpensive drinks. Several bars and restaurants have promotions planned for Monday, so grab a BFF and take advantage of these discounts, collected from Time and RetailMeNot:
Tony Roma's 150 locations are offering $2.22 classic Romaritas Monday for their own spin on National Margarita Day, called National Romarita Day. Romaritas have Sauza Gold tequila in them.
On The Border restaurants are selling $2 frozen or on-the-rocks house margaritas all day. They're 12 ounces, so drink up.
At Margaritaville in Atlantic City, traditional margaritas are only $3 and merchandise is 22 percent off from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST.
Cheeseburger in Paradise stores, which are located in seven states, are giving out classic margaritas frozen or on the rocks for $2.22 all day Monday.
Bahama Breeze locations celebrate Margarita Mondays where specialty pitchers are $20. Drink up.
It makes sense that Margaritas would be partying hard Monday. They're serving $5 original and $5 presidential margaritas and holding giveaways in their restaurants. Plus, feel good for drinking — on Monday, 5 percent of lounge sales go to charity.
If you're in Illinois, stop by Barbakoa for $5 house margaritas.
In Texas, go to Blue Goose Cantina for $1 frozen margaritas.
If you're in California or Nevada, go to Pinches Tacos for $4 blood orange and traditional margaritas all day.
In Colorado, visit Emilio's Almost Famous for $4 house margaritas all day and night long.
In North Carolina, drop by Bad Daddy's Burger Bar for $5 margaritas all day.
Finally, this deal isn't for Monday, but all through March Chevy's melon Shamrock-a-ritas are $7.99. Prices may change depending on what location you're going to, though, so ask before you order.
