National Superhero Day 2021: 5 Movies To Watch On Netflix To Celebrate
Whether they are swooping in to save the day or defeating an evil villain, superheroes are essential to any action-packed story. National Superhero day is the perfect time to kick back and stream some of your favorite crime-fighting movies on Netflix.
“Batman Begins”
Take a look back into the origins of how Bruce Wayne became Batman. The 2005 film stars Christian Bale as the caped crusader, who trains with the League of Shadows before heading back to Gotham to clean up the city.
“The Dark Knight”
In the sequel to “Batman Begins,” the caped crusader continues to clean up Gotham with the help of police Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and DA Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). However, a new villain with unpredictable behavior threatens his plan to restore his city.
“We Can Be Heroes”
You don’t have to be an adult to save the world! The 2020 film, which features the return of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, follows a group of kids desperate to save their superhero parents following an alien invasion.
“The Green Hornet”
He isn’t the most graceful superhero and might be a bit unconventional, but Britt Reid did his best to save the day. See Seth Rogen play the wealthy playboy turned crime fighter in the 2011 movie, which explores how the selfish heir turned his life around to help protect the people of Los Angeles.
“How To Train Your Dragon 2”
After Hiccup and Toothless managed to unite the dragons and Vikings of Berk in the first film, they have been spending their time exploring the lands’ uncharted territory. However, they soon learn about a warrior named Drago, who plans to turn all of the dragons into his soldiers and must find a way to protect Berk from the evil mastermind.
