For all of you taco connoisseurs out there, Friday will be a special day of celebration. Oct. 4 is National Taco Day, which means a ton of restaurants will be offering freebies, discounts and other deals in honor of the tasty holiday.

According to the National Taco Day website, Americans consumed over 4.5 billion tacos last year. That’s roughly 490,000 miles of hard and soft tacos or 775 million pounds worth of tacos.

Make sure you contribute to this year’s taco census by cashing in on some of the deals being offered on National Taco Day.
