NBA: Dwyane Wade Ranks Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Himself
KEY POINTS
- Dwyane Wade is one of the greatest Miami Heat players of all time
- The Miami Heat big 3 won two NBA championships
- Wade recently ranked who among the Heat big 3 are the best and worst
Dwyane Wade was once again put on the spot, this time to judge the individual ranking of the Miami Heat’s big 3. The trio of himself, Lebron James and Chris Bosh was a powerhouse team that racked up multiple accolades.
The Heat team that they assembled will be known for two NBA championships and a dominant force in the league. They once had a stretch of 27 straight wins in the 2013 campaign, recording the second-longest win streak in NBA history.
They were dubbed as the villains of the NBA on how they managed to construct a super team that took over the league. Their squad went to four straight NBA finals series and was only broken up when Lebron returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Now enjoying retirement, Wade made a recent guest appearance in Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live show. They were in a segment called Plead the Fifth where Cohen asked difficult questions for the three-time NBA champion. One of these questions entailed Wade ranking his Miami teammates from most to least talented.
“I’m going to be politically correct on this,” he said. “From most to least: Lebron, Chris and Dwyane.”
Their dynamic as a team was one of the more unstoppable teams during their time. Chris Bosh was a versatile big man who can clean up the boards and also shoot from long range. One of Bosh’s biggest moments in a Heat jersey was when he grabbed the offensive rebound in the dying seconds of game 6 of the 2013 finals. This hustle play led to him kicking the ball out to Ray Allen for the game-tying three.
Lebron managed to grab two more regular-season MVPs during his stint in South Beach. Wade also made a home with the Heat as he started and ended his career with the franchise.
Wade has been one of the most decorated stars of the NBA. He is a three-time champion and a 13-time All-Star. He was also a former Finals MVP where he took down the Dallas Mavericks in 6 games during the 2006 playoffs. To add to these he also has an Olympic Gold Medal when he was part of Team USA Basketball in 2008.
