A fever has drained his energy, yet he fought and led the Dallas Mavericks to a victory to even the series with Miami at 2-2. Nowitzi scored the game deciding layup for an 86-83 win with less than 20 seconds in the game. The driving layup was followed by Miami's Dwayne Wade dunk, but Dallas' Jason Terry closed out the win with two free throws.

Dwayne Wade continues to dominate the Dallas team scoring 32 points. Lebron James on the other had struggled, finishing with only 8 points shooting 3 for 11 with 4 turnovers. The Dallas victory will guarantee a game 6 in Miami with game 5 at home Dallas.
