NBA: LA Lakers Lebron James Doesn’t Intimidate Patrick Beverly

While his offensive stats don’t show All-Star selection numbers, his presence on the court proves to be a valuable asset for the LA Clippers. When asked about Lebron James being his defensive assignment, Beverly immediately responded that it wasn’t a challenge. “No challenge,” he emphasized. “It’s not hard at all,” he continued. Lebron’s credentials do not frighten Beverly at all and continue to play hard in every game he’s in.

Lebron is a four-time regular season MVP and has stepped up in big moments throughout his career. He is in his 17th year and has faced off multiple defenders across the regular season and the playoffs.

He recently led the Lakers to their first postseason berth in seven years. With Anthony Davis by his side, Lebron aims to win deep in the playoffs.

The weekend proved as a huge stretch for the Lakers in a potential playoffs preview. They defeated the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks in a 113-103 victory. It was stirred up to be a possible finals matchup for this year with the Bucks as the favored to win the Eastern Conference. They then defeated the Clippers, one of their biggest threats in the Western Conference, 112-103.
