The world continues to talk about “The Last Dance” as it highlighted a new look to the Chicago Bulls dynasty in the 90s. The series has caused many comparisons to today’s generation and the recent dynasty of the Golden State Warriors.

The documentary focuses on Michael Jordan’s rise to the top of the NBA as he captivated the entire world as a once-in-lifetime athlete. The story of the Bulls’ success has been well documented throughout time but it has never been fleshed out like this before. The series highlights also the drama and turmoil that ensued while the Bulls were on the rise as the dominant team in the league.

While “The Last Dance” has only aired two episodes, it has already exposed so much on what goes on in a successful team’s front office and players. The Golden State Warriors’ general manager Bob Myers can relate to it as the team is coming off a dominant run in the league.

Per an interview in 95.7 The Game, Myers shared that the documentary reminded him of the difficulty of sustaining a dynasty.

"When you watch something like that, it reminds you how hard it is to keep something together. That was my takeaway from it. It's hard to understand,” he shared by way of Bleacher Report.

The 90s Bulls reached a toxic environment when their front office was trying to pull the trigger for a rebuild while the team was on verge of a second three-peat. The past decade featured the Warriors go on a roll with five trips to the finals while hauling three championships.

Amidst the glory of it all, Myers shared that it’s not the easiest of tasks to sustain.

“But you realize that in the midst of it all what happens with great success, and great notoriety, and great attention, and all the money, and all the fame ... it's very hard,” Myers said.

There was certainly a lot more drama depicted in “The Last Dance” including Scottie Pippen’s undervalued contract. The tension may not be the same as what the Warriors went through but the Bay Area team was not exempt from any difficulties.

“When you're trying to win, you don't get to do it all on your own terms. But you do get to win ... so it's fascinating to watch,” Myers added.

Much like the Bulls, the Warriors have already ended their current dynasty and are looking to rebuild and rise again in the near future. To catch more of "The Last Dance", the series will air two episodes weekly and will conclude on May 17.
