A recent video shows LeBron James looking like he’s not dealing with the so-called “father time.”

Last season, James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game. Given those impressive numbers, James played in just 55 games due to injury, his career low in games played. To make matters worse, he and the Lakers missed the playoffs.

However, the addition of Anthony Davis sparked a Lakers comeback next season. While Davis is viewed as a great help, James on his part, is working hard this offseason to get back on winning ways next season.

In a recent video taken during a Lakers practice, James looked like he is not ageing at all. Playing with a number of his Lakers teammates, the four-time MVP even seems to be in top form.

As the video clearly shows, James not only looks quick off the dribble, but his shot looks deadly as well. In one play, James even managed to hoop in a circus-like lay-up as if “the King” was showing off no signs of “father time.”

Aside from James, his teammates are also showing off significant improvements this offseason. In fact, a few days ago, Lakers guard Alex Caruso hinted at becoming James’ co-star next season. According to Caruso, he and James have a good chemistry inside the court and their basketball IQ makes them the a terrific tandem.

“I think me and him can tag along in the same aspect. We both understand how to play and we read off each other pretty well,” Caruso said.

Meanwhile, Davis addressed the James plan of making him the “focal point” of the team. As per the new Lakers star, he can definitely play the said role especially with the help of his teammates, Yahoo Sports reported.

“I know what comes with that, and that’s a lot of heavy lifting. I want to be able to do that. I think I have the capabilities of doing that. And obviously with the team’s support, it’s going to be a lot easier on me. We have a great team,” Davis said.

Davis also noted that the Lakers will focus on defense next season. Based on his assessment, scoring will come easier if the defense is solid. Davis even set a goal of becoming next year ’ s NBA ’ s Defensive Player of the Year and in the process, he wants James to take part and be included in the All-Defensive Team.
