Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards has hardly been mentioned in potential NBA offseason deals although anything can happen. And one team that reportedly has its sights on the 26-year-old guard is the Miami Heat, a team that has been busy the past couple of days. They recently completed a four-team deal involving Jimmy Butler and traded away Hassan Whiteside and his hefty contract to the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Heat now have a couple of new faces in the mix. Aside from the Butler deal, they also got Myers Leonard and Moe Harkless in that deal involving Whiteside. The deal allowed the Heat to rid themselves of the big man's $27.1 million contract which should help the team get under the hard cap by the end of the free agency moratorium on July 6, Fansided reported. It could be a point worth considering for the Wizards who may also need to figure out what to do with John Wall's $171 million contract.

Barry Jackson offers an interesting scenario where the Wizards could dump Wall along with Beal in exchange for James Johnson, Dion Waiters, Justise Winslow and Kelly Olynyk, plus a draft pick. Take note that this is only a hypothetical suggestion that could make sense and a win-win situation for the Heat and the Wizards. But the kicker here is Wall who is unlikely to see action this 2019-20 NBA season due to a ruptured Achilles. Will the Heat risk that huge investment considering they are now trying to rid themselves of previous investment on players which did not pan out?

Missing in that suggested deal is Goran Dragic, yet another player who owns a fat contract. The curious thing here is that Jackson suggested that Miami may have to send the Slovenian somewhere with no money back, likely referring to the Heat's drive to manage it team salary budget to manageable levels. As one can see, there are plenty of things to consider for the Heat to land Beal which means team president Pat Riley may have his work cut out for him to make it all happen.

Worth considering here as well is that the Wizards told Beal that he would not be traded. But the thing here is that even the Wizards front office is in disarray -- meaning anything can still happen looking ahead. It may be a complicated process for the Heat to snag Beal although it is something the Wizards may consider -especially if they don't have immediate grand plans of a good showing for the 2019-20 NBA season.
