NBA star DeMarcus Cousins recently got married to his long-time girlfriend Morgan Lang and seemed quite happy. However, it did not take long for someone to ruin the special occasion with a report that the 29-year-old had allegedly threatened a former flame for now allowing their son to attend the occasion.

TMZ Sports reported that Cousins' former girlfriend, Christy West, filed a restraining order against the four-time NBA All-Star in Alabama for threats made. She also recorded the whole conversation, claiming that it was the Los Angeles Lakers star who was the man talking in the audio. A copy of that conversation can be found below.

"I'm gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level," the man says ... "Can I have my son here, please?"

The threat by the man comes in after West turned down the request.

"I'm gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f**king head."

Aside from that, West also claimed that Cousins was going to kill her without having to get his hands dirty. Further and as per documents, she also claims that Cousins had choked her in a past incident and did not get into detail.

The former GF of Cousins wants the NBA star away from them although she is not preventing Boogie from seeing their son. This is for as long as they are supervised visits. Cousins has yet to comment on the matter.

The whole thing is a sad aftermath seeing how Cousins seemed pretty happy at the nuptial attended by several NBA stars. Much of this was covered in a previous post. It seemed to be a good offshoot following yet another NBA year for the fifth overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft. Last season, he dealt with a ruptured Achilles and a quad injury that hampered his stint with the Golden State Warriors.

Cousins was all set to play for the Lakers for the 2019-20 NBA season before falling to an ACL injury. With the 6-foot-11 likely to miss the coming NBA wars, the Lakers were forced to look for a replacement who turned out to be Dwight Howard. The 33-year-old center officially signed with Los Angeles but the deal was non-guaranteed.
