The Lakers are reportedly interested in signing an NBA champ and a three-time Sixth Man Of The Year.

While most of the big names in the free agency market have already settled with different teams, the Lakers, Clippers and Raptors are still waiting for reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard’s decision. As Leonard has yet to make a final decision, the Lakers seem to be keeping themselves busy recruiting more back-up prospects, or what others perceive as the team’s contingency plan should Leonard decide not to sign with LA.

One of the latest names being linked with the Lakers is Leonard’s teammate, Danny Green. Green has been reportedly drawing interest from the Lakers, and sources even claim that the team will push hard on Green’s free agency if things will not go well with Leonard.

In a recent talk with "The Green Room," the clutch three-point shooter discussed his future plans, as well as the possibility of him playing with LeBron James and Anthony Davis in LA. Green provided positive comments about the new Lakers duo and the recent players the team had just signed. More importantly, Green sounded very open to the idea of joining the Purple and Gold, Lakers Nation reported.

“They got two superstars there. It speaks for itself and other good pieces. Kuzma. They signed Jared Dudley and Troy Daniels I believe… maybe I’m mistaken… some shooters. And when you’ve got those two guys, you know the sky is the limit,” Green said.

Another player is reportedly drawing interest from multiple teams this offseason. Three-time Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford is one of the veteran players who are freshly being linked with LA, Clutch Points noted.

Crawford has already played for 19 seasons in the league but was still able to prove that he can consistently contribute off-the-bench.

Last season, as a member of the Phoenix Suns, the 36-year-old veteran saw his numbers trim down considerably to some of his lowest marks in points per game averaging only 7.9.

To everyone’s surprise, Crawford has recorded his career-high in games played at the age of 36 during his final season with the LA Clippers, the same season in which he put up 12.3 points per game off the bench.

With the Lakers lacking guards who can significantly contribute, inking both Green and Crawford could be a good move. Especially now that the Leonard deal has not actualized yet.
