High profile player agent Rich Paul knows that keeping his clients happy is a priority. Linked to popular NBA names like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it comes to no surprise that he would love to see these personalities play in one team. There is no question that a James-Davis tandem could instantly catapult the Los Angeles Lakers to NBA title contention -- not to mention reap dividends in the form of fat bonuses.

Despite the fact that the New Orleans Pelicans thumbed down that multiplayer deal for Davis back in February, such has not stopped pundits from making speculations on the possible landing of the 26-year-old NBA All-Star in Hollywood. As thing stand now, Paul and the Lakers need to find the best package acceptable for the Pelicans. According to The Los Angeles Times, New Orleans wants Kyle Kuzma to be included in the package. That is aside from Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, the Lakers fourth overall pick for the 2019 NBA Draft and a future unprotected pick. Originally, the Lakers were offering Ball, Ingram and a fourth overall pick.

Similar to that ridiculous offer made in February, it will be interesting if Rob Pelinka would bite this time around. And while that remains unresolved, Paul seems to be doing his part by issuing fair warning to several teams - one of which is the Boston Celtics. According to USA Today, Davis could sign with the Celtics but it may not be long term lease. And while it was not mentioned, it could be the same scenario for other interested teams like the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks. There are other teams in the mix although none were officially mentioned as of this writing.

From hindsight, the case could be different if Davis lands in Hollywood. According to the Yardbarker, Paul is trying his best to bail James out of the mess he is currently in over at the Lakers. The three-time NBA champion does have remaining years in his deal and the player agent is doing his best to make sure that LeBron gets the help he needs to deliver an NBA title to the purple and gold.

On whether he would be successful in delivering Davis to the Lakers or not could likewise be detrimental. As most know, playing behind James has been an issue to several high profile NBA names. While he dominates the middle, it remains that he will have to try and co-exist with James - at least for the next couple of years. After that, it will be interesting what lies ahead for the top pick of 2012 NBA Draft.
