The Houston Rockets are expected to shake up things this summer and heads are expected to roll. One player who could be leaving is Chris Paul following that alleged verbal spat he had with James Harden. Would the New Orleans be listening?

Anthony Davis could be a target, but general manager Daryl Morey will have to find a suitable trade package for the big man. After saying that they would be making anyone on the team available for trade although it may not include James Harden, CBS reported.

Rather, Paul and Clint Capela could be tempting choices, though the former is unlikely to return to New Orleans. Hence and if the Rockets want to move forward, adding some of their players and assets alongside Capella could ensue, Fansided reported.

So the question now is who. If one is to factor in draft picks, the Rockets don't exactly have great ones. They do not own one for the 2019 NBA Draft although they have a first-rounder and second rounder next season. Houston also holds the rights to its own pick in 2021. From the roster, anyone except for Paul and Eric Gordon could be packaged. Seeing how the Pelicans turned down that multiplayer offer from the Lakers, the Rockets may not have enough assets for a straight-up trade as mentioned in a previous article.

A logical scenario would be to see a third team enter the mix. The main players in the mix would be Davis and Paul, both likely to end up suiting for new teams next season. This will limited teams who have the salary budget to spare, accounting for what is expected to be an interesting summer filled with twists.

Should Davis, for some reason, end up in Houston, one can just hope he blends in with Harden. Also, the 27-year-old big man may want to consider the plight of Dwight Howard, someone who has seen his career take a hit. After joining the Rockets back in 2013, struggled to recall the same for he had when he was still with the Orlando Magic.

The former top pick of the 2012 NBA Draft needs to skim through the teams - assuming Pelicans executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin is unable to convince him to stay on in New Orleans. As things stand now, dialogues have started and it looks like talks are far from over, ESPN reported.
