KEY POINTS

  • Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal has proven to be one of the best scorers in the league
  • A trade request to the Golden State Warriors may be beneficial for Beal
  • The Warriors are looking to bounce back in the succeeding years after struggling this season

While the Golden State Warriors have struggled in the past year, they’re expected to bounce back even stronger. This is why having the possibility of a Washington Wizards’ star player Bradley Beal requesting a trade to the Bay Area may benefit the shooting guard.

The Golden State Warriors are seen as one of the more dominant teams in the past decade. From five straight trips to the NBA finals and coming up with three world titles, the Warriors have been a strong example of a dynasty. Although they’ve fallen straight to the bottom of the team standings, the Warriors are still in a position to bounce back in the succeeding seasons.

The Warriors would have their strongest offensive weapons ready by next season as the Splash Brothers prepare for their eventual return. The sharpshooting duo of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson is argued as the best shooting pair in the league. While Curry remains an untouchable figure of the franchise, rumors have speculated that Thompson is a piece that teams may have interest in.

There are a lot of assets the Warriors could utilize, including a 2020 first-round pick in the upcoming draft. The Warriors are loaded with options and the possibility of Beal requesting a trade may benefit the multiple-time All-Star. Per Blue Man Hoop, Beal has transformed into one of the best three-point shooters in the league. Averaging 30.5 points and 6.1 assists a night, his high-octane offense would definitely mash well with the Warriors.

The Warriors are looking to rally back in the succeeding years after a difficult campaign this season. From being on top of the sporting world to the bottom team in the league, the Bay Area Squad is shaping up for a bright future ahead. With key players such as Andrew Wiggins and emerging star Eric Paschall, the Warriors are slowly building back their relevance to the league.

It will be interesting to see how big names such as Beal will end up in the coming months if they’ll ever request for a trade. Having someone of Beal’s caliber in an organization like the Warriors may set the scorer in a more exciting path in the future.
