After going on hiatus during May Sweeps, Season 4 of NBC’s “Blindspot” returned last Friday with a new episode, only a couple of weeks after the network made a decision about the show’s future.

Fans became worried about the show after it was pulled from NBC’s schedule for a few weeks, but the network put them out of their misery by announcing that “Blindspot” will, indeed, be coming back for Season 5, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The goods news of the renewal arrived with a bit of bad news, too; the fifth season will be the show’s last.

As the show, in one fell swoop, was both renewed for Season 5 and canceled, emotions are likely running high for viewers. Luckily, this means the show will get a real series finale, instead of ending on whatever final scene tonight’s two-episode Season 4 finale has in store for fans.

Before everyone’s forced to say goodbye to the show when its fifth and final season releases in early 2020, keep reading to find out what you can expect from the final two “Blindspot” episodes of Season 4, which air back to back tonight, starting at 8 p.m. EDT.

Season 4, episode 21 (“Masters of War”)

Dominic (Guest Star Chaske Spencer) begins to enact Madeline’s (Guest Star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) cataclysmic scheme as the team rushes to stop him. Tensions rise as past secrets begin to unravel.

Season 4 finale (episode 22, titled “The Gang Gets Gone”)

The team sets out on an international mission to stop an attack from spreading. Madeline (Guest Star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) attempts to turn the tables as internal conflict threatens relationships within the team.

“Blindspot” Season 4 ends with two new episodes, including the finale episode, tonight at 8 p.m. EDT.
