College basketball is about to take center stage in the sports world, starting with this week’s conference tournaments. While teams that are on the bubble are looking to secure a spot in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, the favorites in the biggest conferences can potentially earn a No. 1 seed in March Madness by winning their conference championships.

Who will win the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, SEC and Pac-12 tournaments? Here’s a look at the favorites and their top challengers. Betting odds come from FanDuel Sportsbook.

ACC: Duke -135

Mike Krzyzewski might have lost his final home game at Duke, but the legendary head coach is expected to bounce back in the ACC Tournament. The Blue Devils are overwhelming ACC favorites. North Carolina (+800) has the second-best odds after its upset of Duke on Saturday. Duke has five potential first-round picks, led by All-ACC First Team selection Paolo Banchero. The Blue Devils are ninth in scoring and shooting 37.7% from three-point range.

Pac-12: Arizona -140

Arizona is the biggest favorite to win one of the major conference tournaments. Winning the Pac-12 regular-season title by three games, the Wildcats have won 12 of their last 13 outings. That stretch includes a win against UCLA (+280) and two victories over USC (+600). Ben Mathurin leads Arizona, the nation's third-highest scoring team, with 17.3 points per game.

SEC: Kentucky +200

The Wildcats are the SEC favorites after finishing a game behind Auburn (+270) in the regular-season standings. Auburn spent multiple weeks atop the AP Top 25 Poll, and Jabari Smith could be the first player taken in the 2022 NBA Draft. Kentucky, however, has National Player of the Year favorite Oscar Tshiebwe, who is averaging 17.3 points and 15.3 rebounds per game. Tennessee (+370) has wins over both Kentucky and Auburn since Feb. 15.

Big 12: Baylor +230

The reigning national champions have the worst odds of any team that is favored to win a major conference tournament. The Bears’ top competition comes from Kansas (+260), which is tied with Baylor atop the standings. The rivals split their two regular-season meetings. The Bears beat the Jayhawks on Feb. 26 and enter the Big 12 Tournament on a five-game winning streak. Texas Tech (+380) and Texas (+650) are also contenders to win the Big 12 title.

Big Ten: Purdue +200

The Boilermakers are favored to win the Big Ten Tournament despite finishing third in the conference standings. Illinois (+270) and Wisconsin (+1000) won a share of the regular-season Big Ten title. Purdue was the No. 1 team in the country early in the season and has national championship aspirations. Potential top-five pick Jaden Ivey and 7-foot-4 center Zach Edey lead the conference’s most talented roster.
