‘NCIS’ Season 14 Spoilers: What Will Happen In Episode 10 ‘The Tie That Binds’? Christmas Themed Episode Focuses On Ducky [VIDEO]

TV’s most watched drama is airing a special Christmas-themed episode next week. After Vance (Rocky Carroll), Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team of NCIS agents solved a murder case involving a Congresswoman, episode 10 of “NCIS” Season 14 shifts the focus to Ducky (David McCallum).

The long-running procedural hasn’t had many episodes in which Ducky, whose real name is Dr. Donald Mallard, has featured prominently. According to the synopsis of the upcoming episode, titled “The Tie That Binds,” the team investigates the death of a Navy Captain. The promo reveals that this deceased man had Ducky’s address in his pocket.

Of course, this means that the episode will flashback to the days when Ducky served in the army as a doctor. Adam Campbell reprises his role as a young Ducky.

Upon investigating, the NCIS team find a link between this Navy Captain’s murder and Ducky’s mother. This revelation and the case makes Ducky look back at his past and question a pivotal life choice had made 37 years ago. What happened to his mother?

The big orange room won’t be all grim and murder. It will be teeming with gifts and the spirit of Christmas will be in the air. Each member of the team in “NCIS” Season 14, episode 10 will exchange gifts. Furthermore, Gibbs will spend his Christmas having dinner with Senior FBI Agent Fornell (Joe Spano) and his daughter Emily (Juliette Angelo).

As always, forensic genius Abby (Pauley Perrette) will waste no time in embracing the festive season. She whips up her version of an eggnog that Gibbs clearly doesn’t approve of in the preview above. There’s always a next year Abby!
