Nelly Cheats On Lashontae Heckard With Ashanti? Exes Cuddle Over Super Bowl Weekend

Ashanti and rapper Nelly reportedly broke up last year after a relationship that lasted for about 10 years, but they may be getting back together. The two were spotted getting cozy over Super Bowl weekend.

Back in June, Ashanti opened up about their relationship and whether or not they broke up because Nelly cheated on her. She told talk-show host Arsenio Hall: “I mean, listen…things happen, people get hurt, people have resentment, people carry old things with them. Things just happen in real life. You go through things, I go through things, It’s a little bit of both. Some of it is generic and some things are about me. Do I go through things? Absolutely. He has to do what he has to do right now, and I have to do what I have to do right now, because sometimes you can distract each other.”

But they must have missed distracting each other lately, as Page Six reports the two hung out together at New York nightclub WIP on Sunday along with P. Diddy, Rick Ross and other rappers. “Diddy and Rick needed extra room at the table for their furs. Ashanti and Nelly cuddled up next to them…” a source says, adding that they looked “happy to be back together.”

This cannot be good news for Nelly’s rumored girlfriend Lashontae Heckard. Nelly met her nearly 10 years ago on the video set of his song “Grillz.” She even has his nickname, “Mo,” tattooed on her lower back. "M.O." is also the title of Nelly’s seventh studio album.

Heckard has also had a continuing role on the BET hit "The Game." Nelly has not commented on their relationship, nor has Heckard, but it is believed the pair has been together since at least last January. She posted a video of Nelly on her Instagram account in November but has kept quiet about him since then.
