NeNe Leakes doesn't understand why she's being "dragged into" her boyfriend and his estranged wife's drama.
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum is being sued by her boyfriend Nyonisela Sioh's estranged wife, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, who claims that the couple had an affair while he was still married and that their tryst led to her separation from Sioh.
Discussing the lawsuit, Leakes said that it's the exes' business and that she should not be brought into it.
"I feel like it's their business and not mine, right?" Leakes told Entertainment Tonight. "I feel like I was dragged into something that is just not my business. They have their own legal thing that’s going on. I shouldn't be brought into it, that's all. So, I really have no feelings about it. I really think that it's something that [Nyonisela] has to handle himself."
Tehmeh-Sioh filed the suit against Leakes in North Carolina on May 23 for "alienation of affections" and "criminal conversation."
In her court filing, Tehmeh-Sioh claimed that she and her husband separated on or about Dec. 17, 2021, and the reality star was linked to her husband at about the same time. She noted in the documents that Leakes had posted photos on Dec. 15, 2021, of her and Sioh celebrating her birthday together prior to his split.
Tehmeh-Sioh claimed that she and Sioh "enjoyed a genuine happy marital relationship, in which some degree of love, affection, society, companionship, comfort, friendship and favorable mental attitude existed between them" until Leakes' alleged "wrongful interference and conduct."
She also alleged that Leakes and Sioh "engaged in an ongoing romantic, uninhibited and adulterous affair without the knowledge or consent" of his wife, the court documents said.
The lawsuit also said that Tehmeh-Sioh, who is seeking $100,000 in damages from Leakes, faced "embarrassment, humiliation and disgrace" when the reality TV personality posted "intimate pictures" with Sioh on social media.
Leakes has since denied Tehmeh-Sioh's allegations that she stole her husband.
"There ain't nobody out here stealing husbands... Nobody wants to steal nobody else's problems," she wrote on Instagram, according to ET.
Leakes started dating Sioh months after losing her husband Gregg to cancer in September 2021. They were seen holding hands while leaving Mr. Chow in Miami Beach, Florida, in December that year, a week before she made their relationship Instagram official.
They sparked romance rumors after Sioh, the owner of suit company Nyoni Couture, was spotted at her 54th birthday party.
