Netflix Movies Disappearing 2015: Over 35 Movies And TV Shows Expiring In August

As July comes to an end, it’s that time, once again, to take full advantage of your Netflix subscription and binge-watch a few of the titles that are vanishing in August. Meanwhile, you can embrace some of the new ones the popular streaming service is adding.

According to CNET, July will be a bad month for kids and LEGO fans alike as Aug. 27 will see the loss of four titles in the popular animation franchise: “Atlantis,” “Hero Factory: Breakout,” “Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu: King of Shadows” and “Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu: Way of the Ninja.”

As if the blow to the LEGO community wasn’t bad enough, 1980s sitcom nostalgia addicts will be devastated to learn that they’ve only got until Aug. 15 to watch all seven seasons of the classic Michael J. Fox-starring sitcom “Family Ties.” The series aired from 1982 to 1989 and is considered largely responsible for the “Back to the Future” star’s rise to fame.

Meanwhile, movie fans will no doubt be upset to learn that classics like “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Driving Miss Daisy” and “Titanic” will no longer be available starting at the beginning of the month. That’s right, those that want to see a young Leonardo DiCaprio win over a young Kate Winslet will have to look elsewhere to do so.
