Netflix Thanksgiving Movies 2016: 5 Films Available To Stream During Your Turkey Day Celebration
When it comes to the holidays, Christmas movies are king and Thanksgiving movies can be hard to come by. While there are plenty of Thanksgiving TV specials to watch on Netflix, the movie selection is smaller. Despite the list being small, there are still a few Thanksgiving films you can stream on Netflix in 2016.
Check out the five of the best picks below:
1. “Dutch”
As a way to get to know his girlfriend’s son, Dutch Dooley (Ed O’Neill) volunteers to go on a roadtrip to pick her son up from prep school. During the trip, Dutch realizes the child isn’t as nice as he thought he was and everything begins to go wrong for the two.
2. “Son In Law”
Rebecca Warner (Carla Gugino) heads back home to the farm for Thanksgiving break. She brings along her friend Crawl (Pauly Shore) who is not used to the farm life.
3. “Kristy”
Not all holiday movies have to be family-friendly. “Kristy” follows a college student who is left alone on campus during the Thanksgiving break as everyone else heads homes, but she isn’t completely alone. The girl is targeted by a group of outcasts who she must fight off.
4. “Four Brothers”
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre 3000 and Garrett Hedlund, “Four Brothers” tells the story of four adopted siblings who want to avenge their mother’s death.
5. “Miracle on 34th Street”
Sure, it’s a Christmas movie, but the holiday classic starts off at the Thanksgiving Day Parade and what’s more turkey day worthy than that?
