Everyone loves a good Thanksgiving movie, but that doesn’t mean they have to watch the films that are considered traditional entertainment.

The entire holiday is devoted to good food and time spent with family and assorted loved ones, so if you need a break from that, why not watch one of these four films streaming on Netflix to get a different overall vibe for your holiday? Check out these alternative options to watch on Thanksgiving.

“A Holiday Engagement” (2011):

Hillary (Bonnie Summerville) assures her mother that her new fiancé Jason (Chris McKenna) is coming to join them for Thanksgiving weekend, but gets shocked when he winds up breaking up with her right before. Desperate to not show up without someone on her arm, she hires David (Jordan Bridges) to pose as Jason to her family, but things begin taking a turn when her fake fiancé becomes someone she starts to actually fall for.

“Krisha” (2015):

Tensions rise at a Thanksgiving gathering when a troubled woman (Krisha Fairchild) reunites with the extended family that she abandoned years earlier. However, her attempts to reconcile with them don’t go as well as planned.

“Lez Bomb” (2018):
