Netflix’s ‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’: Meet The Cast
Netflix is getting ready to introduce its members to a new version of “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” when it debuts Season 1 of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” on Friday. Before the horror-drama about a 16-year-old witch, created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, debuts, get acquainted with the faces that’ll be popping up over the 10 episodes.
Here’s the cast of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and where you might recognize them from:
Kiernan Shipka (Sabrina Spellman)
The 18-year-old actress is most known for portraying Don Draper’s (Jon Hamm) daughter, Sally Draper, on AMC’s “Mad Men” from 2007 to 2015. Last year, Shipka had a five-episode role on FX’s anthology series, “Feud.”
Miranda Otto (Zelda Spellman)
Although their Spellman characters are, of course, related on this show, Shipka and Otto both had played characters with the last name Draper, who were unrelated. While the former was on the AMC series, Otto played Juliet Draper on the short-lived ABC series, “Cashmere Mafia,” in 2008. She also was on “Homeland” in 2015 as Allison Carr and on “24: Legacy” as Rebecca Ingram in 2017.
Lucy Davis (Hilda Spellman)
Viewers might recognize Davis from her role in 2004’s “Shaun of the Dead” as Dianne, or, perhaps, they’ll remember her as Etta in last year’s “Wonder Woman.” She also played Macy on a few episodes of “Better Things” from 2016 to 2017.
Ross Lynch (Harvey Kinkle)
Aside from singing in the band R5 and his new duo The Driver Era, Lynch was also big on the Disney Channel, with a starring role on “Austin & Ally” from 2011 to 2016 and the network’s “Teen Beach Movie” franchise. Last year, he shook things up and took on the role of Jeff Dahmer in “My Friend Dahmer.”
Chance Perdomo (Ambrose Spellman)
Before landing this Netflix gig, Perdomo had only worked on a few video shorts and as a guest on a couple TV shows. He was also in the TV movie, “Killed by My Debt,” earlier this year. You’ll definitely remember him after checking out this show, though.
Richard Coyle (Father Blackwood)
The actor starred on the early-2000’s sitcom, “Coupling,” before moving on to the TV mini-series, “Strange.” In 2012, he joined Piper Perabo’s “Covert Affairs” for a few episodes and went on to have quite a few TV arcs after that. In 2014, he was on “Crossbones,” 2015 was “A.D. The Bible Continues,” 2016 was “The Collection” as well as “The Fall” and 2017 was “Born to Kill.”
Tati Gabrielle (Prudence)
Sci-fi and fantasy fans tuning in for this show will remember Gabrielle as Gaia on The CW’s “The 100” as well as Birdie on Hulu’s “Freakish.”
Jaz Sinclair (Rosalind Walker)
Although she hasn’t been in too many projects, Sinclair’s been amping things up since 2015, when she played Angela in the film adaptation of John Green’s “Paper Towns.” After that, she was in “When the Bough Breaks,” “Fun Mom Dinner” and 2018’s “Slender Man.”
Lachlan Watson (Susie Putnam)
This will be Watson’s biggest onscreen role, but she was previously in a couple episodes of “Nashville” and an episode of “Drop Dead Diva.”
Michelle Gomez (Mary Wardell)
The actress’ most recent work includes the BBC comedy, “Bad Education,” and the network’s popular “Doctor Who” series, on which she played Missy.
Adeline Rudolph (Agatha)
As this is Rudolph’s first credited project, in a few years, you’ll be able to say you saw her when she first started out.
Abigail Cowen (Dorcas)
The last year has been big for Cowen, with the actress jumping from Netflix’s “Stranger Things” to CBS’ “Wisdom of the Crowd” to Freeform’s “The Fosters” and now to “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
Gavin Leatherwood (Nicholas Scratch)
The actor kicked off his TV and film career in 2017 with an episode of “NCIS.” Since then, he’s done a few video shorts and episodes of some other shows, like “Grown-ish” and “Wicked Enigma.”
All 10 episodes of “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” Season 1 will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday.
