KEY POINTS

  • "Genshin Impact" Update 1.4 is now live
  • Leaks about Update 1.5 of the game have been rife over the past weeks
  • Update 1.5 might introduce a new item, according to a leak

More information about the new "Genshin Impact" content is now available online, thanks to massive leaks shared by multiple industry insiders. A few weeks ago, the fandom learned the details about the upcoming playable characters that might be available in the next major patch of the game. Now, leaks reveal that a video of an Electro traveler could point to the imminent release of the Inazuma region in the wildly popular gacha game.

New Electro Traveler

Industry insider Lumie is back again with some juicy details about "Genshin Impact," this time revealing details about the Electro Traveler. The insider shared a brief clip featuring the said character, giving the community an idea of what they will look like. However, according to the insider, the character's ability is not yet finished, so players only have the short video showing the Electro Traveler's animation.

Lots of rumors and leaks hint that the much-awaited Inazuma region might become available on "Genshin Impact" Update 2.0. While most fans hope to see the region get unlocked in Update 1.5, it appears that the next patch would deliver a Zhongli re-run character banner, among others. According to leaks, characters like Eula and Yanfei would also arrive in the game's next major update.

Dream Solvent

Another reliable industry insider HoneyDodogama shared on Twitter that "Genshin Impact" Update 1.5 would introduce a new item. Reportedly called Dream Solvent, this new material would apparently allow players to convert talent ascension materials dropped during the boss fights in the upcoming content. If accurate, this leak is good news to all players.

One of the biggest problems "Genshin Impact" players have has to do with farming talent ascension materials when reaching level six and higher. It would take players weeks or even months before they could collect the right materials. It appears that miHoYo finally decided to tweak this system in the next major update.

It is worth noting that while these leaks are interesting, these are not official. In other words, fans should temper their expectations about "Genshin Impact" Update 1.5. Like all other rumors and leaks, these must be taken with a pinch of salt.
