New Girl Scout Cookie 2012: How Does Savannah Smiles Stack up? [POLL]
A new Girl Scout cookie is in town for the 2012 season. To celebrate the Scouts’ 100th anniversary, the organization rolled out Savannah Smiles.
Little Brownie Bakers, which makes Savannah Smiles, provides the following facts about the cookie:
- It is named after Savannah, Georgia, the place where founder Juliette Gordon Low started the organization
- It is a lemon cookie that “reflects the heritage of past customer favorites”
- It is “cool and crisp, with just the right number of lemon chips”
- It is supposed to remind people of the “Brownie Smile”

Savannah Smiles, of course, is not the only game in town. Below are some of its Girl Scout competitors.
Thin Mints – mint-flavored, covered with dark chocolate
Samoas / Caramel deLites – doughnut-shaped, covered in caramel and toasted cocnut

Trefoils / Shortbread – shortbread cookie, with Girl Scout Trefoil design
