‘New Girl’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 16 Promo, Synopsis Tease Gordon Ramsay’s Appearance In ‘Operation: Bobcat’

“New Girl” Season 6, episode 16 will serve as the hit FOX sitcom’s special Valentine’s Day episode.

In “Operation: Bobcat,” a newly-single Jess (Zooey Deschanel) tries to convince her friends that she’s fine with not having a partner. However, no one really believes her. In the promo released by FOX, Nick (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone) are all shocked to hear Jess say that she will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by herself. To make things worse, her plans for the night will include cleaning her purse.

The next scene shows Jess enjoying a lavish meal by herself as famed chef Gordon Ramsay cooks in front of her. Even the guest star himself asks Jess if she’s sad that she’s on her own on Valentine’s Day. But Jess tells him to stop asking such questions. At one point, Ramsay will also join Jess for dinner, and the lead character later breaks down and admits that she’s having a hard time being by herself on the special day.

In a second promo for episode 16, Ramsay dished on what fans can expect from his character. He joked that his guest appearance on “New Girl” Season 6 is very timely, since it will be part of the show’s Valentine’s Day celebration. He added that he is, after all, warm and fuzzy and loves to hug other people. Ramsay was, of course, just being sarcastic since the chef is known for his harsh but honest comments on the hit cooking reality TV show, “Master Chef.”

Elsewhere, Schmidt will be competing with one of his colleagues for a huge promotion. Winston (Lamorne Morris) will be preoccupied by his plans to propose to Aly (Nasim Pedrad). Megan Fox will also reprise her role as Reagan in the installment.

“New Girl” Season 6, episode 16 will air on FOX on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
