The tech giant Apple has released its third generation tablet - the 'New iPad', on March 7 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) in San Francisco. And just as what many rumors indicated, a new Apple TV set top box was also announced at the event.
However, only a limited number of media people were invited to attend the event. No wonder, Apple fans are curious and eager to find out what happened inside the YBCA.
Apple CEO Tim Cook had unveiled the new iPad, which sports of Retina Display, A5X chip, 5 5-megapixel camera, 4G LTE, and more.
Everyone's been wondering who will come out with a product that's more amazing than the iPad 2, Cook said at the event. Stop wondering: We are.
Apple TV set top box and a slew of apps come along with the new tablet. The new TV set top box features include 1080p movies and TV shows from iTunes Store, redesigned 1080p user interface and more.
Besides Cook, other top executives such as Apple Marketing executive Philip Schiller, President of Epic Games Mike Capps also presented on the stage.
Even though the creative genius and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs passed away last October, it seems the tech giant is in good hands and Cook has been able to prove that he's the right man at the helm.
