Free Guy
The highly anticipated action-comedy movie "Free Guy" hit the theaters Tuesday. It revolves around the character called Blue Shirt Guy, played by Ryan Reynolds, who discovers he is actually a background character in a video game. The movie was written by Matt Lieberman and directed by Shawn Levy.

Respect
Fond of musical drama based on true events? In that case, "Respect" is a perfect pick for you. The musical drama, which runs for two hours and 25 minutes, follows Aretha Franklin's journey from singing in her father's church choir to being an international superstar. Directed by Liesl Tommy, the movie debuted in theaters Friday.

CODA
If you are looking forward to watching a sweet movie that has the perfect mix of drama and comedy, then you should definitely check out "CODA" in theaters or on Apple TV+. The movie focuses on a teenage hearing daughter born to two deaf parents, played by Marlee Matlin and Troy Kotsur. Helmed by Sian Heder, it is an adaptation of the French comedy flick "La Famille Bélier," which was released in 2014.

Beckett
Ferdinando Cito Filomarino's directorial venture, "Beckett," is a mystery thriller film, which dropped on Netflix Friday. In the movie, John David Washington plays an American tourist who gets into an accident while vacationing in Greece. Now a target of a manhunt, he needs to use different means of transportation to reach the embassy and clear his name. The movie also stars Boyd Holbrook, Vicky Krieps and Alicia Vikander.

The Kissing Booth 3
The popular franchise, "The Kissing Booth," dropped its highly anticipated third installment, "The Kissing Booth 3" on Netflix Wednesday. Directed by Vince Marcello, the teen romantic comedy flick stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, Taylor Zakhar Perez and Joel Courtney in the roles. The movie is based on Beth Reekles' novel with the name -- "The Kissing Booth #3: One Last Time."
