A new “One Piece” theory predicts the outcome of the upcoming fight between the Straw Hats pirates and Kaido’s Numbers. The manga is fast approaching its 1000th chapter and things are starting to heat up in the Land of Wano. Aside from the shocking announcement made by X Drake, the previous installment laid the foundation of the upcoming fight of the Minks-Ninja-Pirates alliance against the ancient giants artificially developed at Punk Hazard.
The latest “One Piece” theory is courtesy of Tight_Sea56 and reported by opfanpage. According to the site, each devil fruit user from the Straw Hats would defeat at least one Number based on their specific personal numbers. Essentially, Robin, Chopper and Brook would take down at least one artificial ancient giant each.
The “One Piece” theory claims that each member of the Straw Hats has a corresponding number concealed in their name or ability. For instance, Luffy’s gomu gomu no means 5-6. Nico Robin’s hana hana no mi means 8-7(ha-na), Brook’s devil fruit is yomi yomi no mi is short for 3-4 (yo-mi) and Chopper’s devil fruit is hito-hito, short for 1-10.
Meanwhile, the latest “One Piece” theory claims that other Straw Hats members have numbers hidden in their names too. It discloses that Roronoa Zoro means roku or 6, Sanji is obviously number 3 and Nami is number seven for nana. Aside from the Straw Hats’ Kaido’s Numbers reportedly have distinctive laughs that correspond to a number.
For instance, in “One Piece” Chapter 990, Luffy took down the ancient giant whose laugh is gokiki. Go, apparently stands for the number 5 equivalent to Luffy’s gomu gomu no, which is 5-6. The theory also claims that X Drake is fighting the giant whose laugh is jukiki.
Ju is equivalent to ten in Japanese and corresponds to the X in Drake’s name which is equivalent to ten in Roman numerals. It is worth mentioning that while this information is interesting and remarkable, this is just a theory and sometimes it is either hit or miss. Meanwhile, “One Piece” Chapter 991 will have a weeklong hiatus. It is set to arrive on September 27.
