New Parents Princess Sofia And Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden Swoon Over Newborn Son Prince Alexander
Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden looked happy as they attended the royal christening of their baby nephew Prince Oscar on May 27. The new mom glowed in a powder blue dress as she arrived at the royal chapel, holding on to the arm of her husband. The 31-year-old princess is enjoying life with her young family in their new home in Stockholm.
Sofia showed off her post-baby body for the second time in one-and-a-half months after the birth of her first child Prince Alexander in April. The princess made her first public appearance during the 70th birthday celebrations of her father-in-law King Carl XVI Gustaf in April end. Sofia and Carl Philip left their newborn son at home as they attended his cousin’s christening.
Sofia and Carl Philip stayed close to each other throughout the event, walking hand-in-hand as they greeted the rest of the royal family. Sofia opted for a powder blue cape-dress by Antonio Berardi. Her dress featured an asymmetric hemline, high neck and a cape overlay that draped asymmetrically down the back.
She accessorized with a chic nude fascinator, pearl drop earrings, brooch, and her engagement ring. She wore nude high heels and carried a matching box clutch. The young royal complemented her dress with natural make-up.
Her brunette tresses were left loose in a center part with a portion of hair from both the sides pulled back loosely and fastened with a clip. Her husband Carl Philip looked as dashing as ever in his military uniform. In May, the Swedish royal couple showed off stunning new photos of their new family that included a new addition – a royal puppy.
In the picture, the almost two-month-old Alexander sleeps in his dad’s arms alongside his mom in one of the shots. Both Sofia and Carl Philip pose with their son in individual photos in black-and-white.
