However, a recent statement from a game developer bared that its accessories would provide some revolutionary features of the upcoming console.

PS5 Game-Changing Feature

Tango Gameworks, the team behind the game "Ghostwire: Tokyo" recently shared how the accessories and software features of the PS5 could make a massive difference in the player's overall gaming experience. The gaming studio has drawn its attention to the 3D audio protocol and the PS5 DualSense controller. In an interview with IGN, "Ghostwire: Tokyo" game director and Tango Gameworks founder Shinji Mikami and Kenji Kimura talked about how the earlier mentioned accessories could improve the game in ways that earlier hardware could not.

"You need to experience it directly because this is very difficult to explain both verbally and in text," noted Kimura, "but the DualSense Haptics and adaptive triggers felt so good that it made us, the developers, say 'woah!' because they allowed for us to feel and experience the various actions and attacks like never before," he added. Kimura was referring on how to find a way to describe to gamers how immersive and subtle the PS5 DualSense controller feels even before they could play the game.

PS5 3D Audio Feature

The game director also noted that the capacities of the DualSense are substantially different from the features found in existing game controllers. Meanwhile, the 3D audio feature of the PS5 is a technology already present in some PC gaming headsets. Theoretically, the PS5 would use a version of this technology that enhances soundscapes for every listener.

According to Kimura, this particular audio feature is difficult to explain, and gamers should personally experience it. It gives you the feeling that you are actually there and sound is extremely important in feeling objects and beings, he noted. PS5 has no official release date yet, and Sony maintains the holiday 2020 release window for the next-gen gaming console.
