New Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Likely To Get A Snapdragon 730G Chipset
Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is adding another smartphone to its current portfolio. The latest addition packs a lot of special features: a 108MP Penta-lens camera setup and a top-notch octa-core processor.
According to reports, the Beijing-based company has just teased its upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro -- also called Xiaomi Mi Note 10 -- smartphone on the Weibo website ahead of its November 5 official launch date. The images showed a new device with five shooters, a 108MP sensor and a 5x optical zoom capabilities.
This week, the new device with model number M1910F4E also appeared on TENAA listing, showing light on the spec sheet. That listing shows off a few more specs, like a 6.47-inch OLED screen (FHD+), camera hump, waterdrop notch and a curved display, a 5,170mAh battery pack. Additionally, the listing also shows a device with 6GB and 12GB of RAM along with 64GB and 256GB of fixed internal storage.
Other features showed off include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 32-megapixel selfie camera, 3.5mm port, and IR blaster. There still no information about pricing, but Xiaomi said, earlier, that the upcoming device would be a great deal.
The new device will likely get a Snapdragon 730G processor
The device’s top-notch octa-core processor ensures that the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro can handle almost anything you throws its way. The still-unnamed mobile processor has a clock speed of 2.2GHz, which suggests that this is a Snapdragon 730G and not a Snapdragon 855+ chipset that many people think. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will likely get a similar footprint to the regular Xiaomi Mi CC9 device. The phone’s dimension is, reportedly, are 157.8 x 74.2 x 9.67 mm and has a weight of just 208 grams.
Xiaomi will also launch a new wearable device and new Quantum OLED TV
This is not the first time Xiaomi has introduced a smartphone with a 108MP camera setup. Last month, the Chinese smartphone giant launched the Mi Mix Alpha with the same camera setup and zoom capabilities.
In addition to the upcoming Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro smartphone, the Chinese smartphone maker will also launch its new wearable device Xiaomi watch and new Mi TV 5 on the upcoming November 5 launch event. The new Xiaomi watch will bring the company’s first Wear OS smartwatch, while the new Mi TV 5 device will feature a 4K Quantum OLED display.
