New Year's Eve celebrations will be televised live from New York City's Times Square yet again, with Carson Daly hosting an NBC special full of musical performances and celebrity appearances for the annual ball drop. "The Voice" coach and singer Gwen Stefani will headline the night with a pre-taped performance of her single “Used To Love You." The performance will be followed by a live performance of the hit "Spark The Fire."

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to ring in the new year with NBC, our incredible viewers and the extraordinarily talented Gwen Stefani,” Daly said in a news release. “It’s always such a special time of year, and what’s better than being able to celebrate with great friends? Looking forward to a fun night!”

Stefani will be joined by a number of other surprise guests. The night will start with Bravo host and executive producer Andy Cohen hosting his own special, which is set to air at 10 p.m. EST on the network from 30 Rock. Eight celebrities are slated to join Cohen for the first party of the night, where they will face off in a number of games, according to NBC.

“I love three things — a party, live TV and celebrities playing games — so combining all three on New Year’s Eve is my idea of a perfect night,” Cohen said

Daly has hosted the special for more than a decade. Here we take a look at some of the performances from years past:

Girl group the Pussycat Dolls performed their hit "Buttons" at Daly's 2011 celebration.

In 2010, the band Green Day took the stage to play the song "Know Your Enemy."

That same year, Jay Z and Rihanna teamed up to perform the hit "Run This Town."
