New Years Sales 2012: Best Deals at Walmart, Kohl's, Pottery Barn and More

Until New Year's Day 2012, Target is offering 50 percent off clothing, accessories and and home decor, as well as thousands of items on clearance in stores. To find the nearest Target, check out their web site and scope out the deals.

Amazon

Great deals at the online store include up to 70 percent off cellphones, watches, jewelry, clothing and accessories. Other sales are 50 percent off just about everything else at amazon.com. The sale ends New Year's Day, but more items will be on sale over the weekend.

Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn's Winter Sale is almost over, with up to 60 percent off on over 500 items and free shipping on select items through Jan. 2, 2012. Great deals on the company's web site include $200 off coffee and dining room tables and bedding sets for under $100.

Abercrombie and Fitch

The clothing retailer is knocking another 40 percent off of everything in the store to welcome in the New Year. Use Promo Code 15444 to get the best deals in men's and women's clothing and accessories at Abercrombie and Fitch online.

Wal-Mart

Thousands of items are on sale at Wal-Mart over the New Year's weekend, though they're not marked under a special sales category. Be ready to ring in the New Year! will offer big sales on party items after the New Year, though, and stores nationwide will be open New Year's Day.

Best Buy

Huge discounts in Best Buy's End-of-Year sale include $900 off a Samsung 55 Class LED 1080p 120Hz Smart 3D HD TV and Blu-Ray DVD new releases for only $14.99 each. Check out the Best Buy web site for more details.

Walgreen's

The drug store is offering $5 off $30 purchases and $10 off purchases of $50 or more, as well as deals on holidya items and other select products in stores and online. Walgreen's pharmacies will have regular hours on New Year's Day, so check your local listings to see when the closest store will open.

The department store is offering great deals as part of its New Year's sale, lasting through Monday, Jan. 2 with New Year's 2012 daily deals, clearance markdowns of between 60 and 80 percent sales, and shipping deals that include 99 shipping on all items and free shipping for purchases over $75. Barnes & Noble

Up to 90 percent off paperbacks and bargain fiction, 75 percent off CDs, and up to 50 percent off calendars, hardcovers, toys, games, electronics and DVDs. Visit the Barnes & Noble web site for local store hours and deals that include NOOK devices for $99.

Macy's

The Florida department store's online component is offering $10 off purchases of $25 or more with the promo code NEW10, with only $5 in shipping and handling. Great deals on the Beall's web site include up to 50 percent off women's clothing and up to 75 percent off shoes and accessories.
