New York Fashion Week 2012: Guns N’ Roses Hitting the Big City for Fashion’s Biggest Week

Guns N' Roses announced Monday that they will play a series of shows in the U.S. in February (listed below) and they have chosen a date in New York City, nestled right in the middle of New York Fashion Week 2012, as their kick-off.

Guns N' Roses have lined up three Manhattan shows for next week, starting with the Roseland Ballroom and moving onto Terminal 5 and Webster Hall. In the midst of Fashion Week models and hoards of glitterati, the rock band will wail Sweet Child O' Mine.

Webster Hall will be renamed The Ritz for one night only celebrating the band's return, as Guns N' Roses has not played the venue in 24 years.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale for the New York shows. General on-sale will open Wednesday. Tickets and VIP packages for each of the shows will be available at the Guns N' Roses Web site.

Guns N' Roses' most recent album, Chinese Democracy, was released in November 2008. They just finished an arena tour through the U.S., playing more than 30 shows.

Alas, seats at New York Fashion Week will be a bit more difficult to come by.
