The 2012 NFL season is entering the final stretch, with Thanksgiving approaching.

Week 12 will feature two additional Thursday night games, because of the holiday. In their usual Thanksgiving game, the Lions will face, possibly, the best team in football. They are getting three points, as they host the Texans.

The Cowboys will host the Redskins in the second game on the holiday. Dallas is a three-point favorite at home.

The Jets are basically in a must-win situation at home against the Patriots. They’re getting 6.5 points at MetLife Stadium.

Most games on the schedule are expected to be fairly close. Twelve games have a point spread of three points or less.

The Broncos are the only double-digit favorites of the week. Peyton Manning and Denver are giving Kansas City 10.5 points.

Week 12 features a couple of rematches from last year’s playoffs. The Giants are giving the Packers 2.5 points on Sunday Night Football. The 49ers are favorites against the Saints, in a rematch of the most exciting game of the 2011 postseason.

The Monday Night Football game features two of the more disappointing teams in the NFC. The Eagles and Panthers are a combined 5-15 this year. Carolina is a 2.5-point underdog.

The Ravens and Chargers are expected to have the most competitive game of the season. The contest is a pick’em with the game being played in San Diego. Baltimore is four games better than San Diego.

For the first time since Week Four, no team will have a bye.
