Road teams could have a lot of success in Week 9, according to the latest NFL betting odds. Only six home teams are favored on the upcoming schedule.

Week 9 begins with the Buffalo Bills favored to win on the road against the New York Jets on “Thursday Night Football.” The betting lines for both “Sunday Night Football” and “Monday Night Football” also list the home teams as underdogs. The Oakland Raiders are giving the Miami Dolphins 2.5 points, and the Green Bay Packers are getting 2.5 points at home without Aaron Rodgers against the Detroit Lions.

Maybe the Dallas Cowboys would've been favored at home if Ezekiel Elliott was eligible to play. With a judge ruling that the running back has to serve his six-game suspension, Dallas’ contest with the Kansas City Chiefs is a pick’em.

The contest between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers is also a pick’em. The 49ers won’t start quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo after trading for him Monday night.

The biggest Week 9 favorite is at home and coming off a loss. The Houston Texans are laying nearly two touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts, and the contest features the week’s highest over/under. Deshaun Watson has thrown 16 touchdown passes in his last four games.

Leading the NFL with a 7-1 record, the Philadelphia Eagles are favored by more than a touchdown at home to the Denver Broncos. Denver has just one victory since Week 3.

The Seattle Seahawks are one of three teams favored by at least a touchdown. Having won four games in a row, Seattle will host the Washington Redskins, who are on a two-game losing streak. Seattle is 3-0 at home.

There is currently no point spread for the game between the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. It’s unknown if Joe Flacco will play after he left the team’s Week 8 contest with a concussion.

Arguably the two best AFC teams are off in Week 9. The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers have a bye. The Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Chargers are also idle.
