The Oakland Raiders hold the third overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, but there’s a good chance that will change by the time they are ready to make a selection.

According to reports, several teams have expressed interest in making a trade for the No.3 pick in the first round. The Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions are among the clubs that have been rumored to have interest in moving up on Thursday.

If Cleveland and Oakland can reach a deal, the Browns would move from No.3 to No.6. With a top three pick, Cleveland might be free to take the best pass rusher in the 2013 class. Offensive lineman Eric Fisher and Luke Joeckel are expected to be the first two pick on Day One, in some order. The Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars sit at No.1 and No.2 and aren’t expected to trade down.

Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd could be the Browns choice at No.3. They might go after a top pass rusher like Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah or Dion Jordan.

There are have been rumors that Cleveland could select Geno Smith. Cleveland took quarterback Brandon Weeden in last year’s draft, but he struggled as a rookie. It would be surprising to see the Browns take Smith at No.3, though, considering some mock drafts don’t even have him being taken in the first round.

If Detroit makes a trade with Oakland and moves from No.5 to No.3, they could also be looking to add a top pass rusher. A lot of mock drafts have them taking Anash where they are now, and they could make a move to ensure that a team doesn’t trade up and snag him in the top three. Draftinsider.net reports that Star Lotuleilei of Utah could be the Lions guy at third overall.

The Lions could also be looking at a top pass protector. After Fisher and Joeckel come off the board, Lane Johnson may be the most coveted offensive lineman available. There has been talk that the Philadelphia Eagles will draft Johnson if he’s there at No.4, and Detroit could trade up to get the tackle.

The Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins have been rumored to have interest in moving up in the first round, as well. They are slated to pick at No.7 and No.12, respectively.
