More than half of the NFL teams are out of postseason contention in Week 17 of the 2018 season, but that doesn’t necessarily mean most of the league has nothing to play for Sunday. A bunch of teams will be looking to play spoiler and potentially knock their rivals out of the playoff picture.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Redskins are facing division opponents that need victories to even have a chance of making the playoffs. The Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars can prevent teams from winning the division. The New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers will all take on rivals that are trying to land a first-round bye.

All eight of the possible spoilers are significant underdogs.

Cleveland might have the best chance to pull off the upset. They are getting six points in their road game against the Baltimore Ravens, per OddsShark. The Browns have won five of six games and defeated the Ravens in overtime on Oct. 7.

The Ravens can clinch the AFC North with a win. If Cleveland beats Baltimore, it could allow the Pittsburgh Steelers to win the division and knock the Ravens out of the playoffs. Pittsburgh is a half-game behind Baltimore and the week’s biggest favorite in their home game against Cincinnati.

Denver is the only other spoiler that already has a win over their Week 17 opponent. They won on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. If the Broncos can beat L.A. at home, the Chargers will enter the playoffs as the No.5 seed.

The Raiders are 13.5-point underdogs on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs. A win for Kansas City would give them the AFC West title and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Oakland lost at home to Kansas City 40-33 in Week 13.

If the Chiefs and Chargers lose, the New England Patriots can seize the AFC’s No.1 seed with a victory. They’ll host the Jets, whom they beat on the road by two touchdowns in Week 12.

The Jaguars can shake things up by winning on the road against the Houston Texans. Houston needs a win to clinch the AFC South. If the Texans lose, the winner of Sunday night’s contest between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans will become the AFC South champion. Houston is favored by 6.5 points, having won in Jacksonville 10 weeks ago.

Washington would eliminate the Philadelphia Eagles with a win at home Sunday. The Eagles need a win and a Minnesota Vikings' loss to earn the NFC’s final playoff berth.

The Chicago Bears will have a chance to get a bye if they beat Minnesota. The NFC North champions would also need the 49ers to win on the road against the Rams. Los Angeles defeated San Francisco 39-10 in Week 7.
