The 2018 NFL playoff picture looks a lot different following Sunday’s Week 15 matchups. Several teams saw their postseason hopes evaporate, while others picked up key victories to remain in the hunt.

The Green Bay Packers and New York Giants were eliminated from contention with losses. The Denver Broncos are also done after losing on “Thursday Night Football.”

Denver was officially eliminated Sunday when most of the AFC wild-card contenders were victorious. The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to hold onto the No.6 seed for another week. They’ve got the tiebreaker over the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, who kept pace with Baltimore with wins of their own.

The Pittsburgh Steelers maintained a half-game lead over Baltimore in the AFC North by defeating the New England Patriots. New England was unable to clinch another AFC East title, but their magic number is down to one after the Miami Dolphins were beaten by the Minnesota Vikings. Miami is a game out of the final AFC wild-card berth.

Minnesota didn’t only maintain a half-game lead as the NFC's No.6 seed with a win. They pulled within a half-game of the No.5 seed Seattle Seahawks, who were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. Seattle would have clinched a postseason spot with a win.

The Vikings can only get into the playoffs with a wild-card berth. The Chicago Bears clinched the NFC North title Sunday when they eliminated the Packers.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins both trail Minnesota by a half-game after picking up wins with their backup quarterbacks. Nick Foles and Philadelphia stunned the Los Angeles Rams on “Sunday Night Football.” The loss by L.A. gives the New Orleans Saints a chance to take a one-game lead for the NFC’s No.1 seed.

New Orleans visits the Carolina Panthers on “Monday Night Football.” Carolina needs a win to keep pace with Philadelphia and Washington in the wild-card race.

Carolina wouldn’t be officially eliminated with a loss, though their chances of making the playoffs would become extremely slim. The Cleveland Browns are mathematically still alive for the final AFC wild-card spot, but it’ll be virtually impossible for them to get into the postseason.

The Dallas Cowboys can clinch the NFC East with a win or a loss by the Eagles and Redskins over the next two weeks. The same goes for the Houston Texans in the AFC South, where the Colts and Titans are still alive.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are tied atop the AFC West. Kansas City owns the tiebreaker.
