The NFL released its schedule for the 2020 season Thursday night, and Week 1 betting lines are already available. The best teams from last season are, not surprisingly, the biggest favorites on the first slate of games.

The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs kick off the season against the Houston Texans on Thursday, Sept. 10. Kansas City is the only double-digit favorite on the schedule, laying 10.5 points at Arrowhead Stadium, according to OddsShark.

Houston is one of the few teams that were able to get the better of Kansas City last season. Deshaun Watson and the Texans defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs 31-24 in Week 6 on the road.

The Baltimore Ravens are the biggest favorites for the year’s first NFL Sunday. The defending AFC North champs are laying 8.5 points at home against the Cleveland Browns.

Baltimore led the NFL with a 14-2 record in 2019. Lamar Jackson won the MVP award unanimously, throwing for 36 touchdowns and rushing for 1,206 yards.

The Indianapolis Colts are 7.5-point favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Philip Rivers will make his debut with the Colts after starting for the Chargers in Week 1 for 14 straight years.

Coming off a crushing loss in the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers are the NFC’s biggest Week 1 favorites. The Arizona Cardinals are 7.5-point underdogs in San Francisco.

The 49ers were the conference’s No.1 seed last year with a 13-3 record. San Francisco cruised through the NFC playoffs, defeating the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers by 17 points each.

The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles are each six-point favorites against division rivals. New England is set to host the Miami Dolphins, likely with Jarrett Stidham replacing Tom Brady. Philadelphia opens the season on the road against the Washington Redskins.

The New Orleans Saints are early 4.5-point favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Brady’s first game with his new team.
