Several notable NFL players have already been dealt, and there’s still six days to go until the 2018 trade deadline. The Dallas Cowboys have acquired Amari Cooper from the Oakland Raiders, and the New York Giants have moved on from both Eli Apple and Damon Harrison.

Who else might be dealt within the next week? Pro Bowlers Patrick Peterson and Le’Veon Bell have been at the center of trade rumors, and the Giants might not be done trading veteran players.

The chances of Bell being traded are lower than they appeared to be a few weeks ago. The running back still hasn’t reported to Pittsburgh, and Steelers’ owner Art Rooney II told NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport that he expects Bell to remain with the team this season.

The Philadelphia Eagles appeared to be a potential trade partner for Pittsburgh when Jay Ajayi was lost for the season. Maybe the team will instead look to improve a defense that has been underwhelming following the team’s championship season. Philadelphia is one of a few teams that has been linked to Peterson, who reportedly wants out of Arizona.

According to CBS Sports' Bryant McFadden, who is Peterson’s cousin, the Eagles, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots have all shown interest in trading for the star cornerback. McFadden reported that Peterson prefers to play for the Saints, who have already upgraded the secondary by acquiring Apple. That deal likely won’t prevent them from adding another cornerback.

The Patriots made a trade a few weeks ago, acquiring Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick. The cost for Peterson would be much higher since he’s made seven straight Pro Bowls and is signed through next season.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the New York Jets have inquired about Peterson, but a deal almost certainly won’t happen.

Teams looking for cornerback help could look to the Giants for an option that won’t cost them the same valuable assets that it would require to get Peterson. Janoris Jenkins could be the next veteran that’s sent packing. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan has reported that New York would be open to freeing up payroll by trading Jenkins, who is owed more than $22 million over the next two seasons.

The Steelers could be in the market for a player like Jenkins. Peterson might make sense to improve a poor Pittsburgh secondary, though McFadden said on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh Tuesday that the Steelers aren’t involved in trade talks with the Cardinals.

The Oakland Raiders are open to making more trades after dealing Khalil Mack and Cooper this season, and Gareon Conley is drawing interest from teams that need help in the secondary. Conley, however, might be among the few Raiders that the team doesn't have much interest in moving.

The 2018 NFL trade deadline is 4 p.m. EDT on Oct. 30.
