NFL Training Camps 2015: Start Dates, Locations For All 32 NFL Teams
For fans the 2015 NFL season is technically less than two months away, but for players the season begins once training camps open up around the country later this month. Think of it like the first day of school. Players get their playbooks, catchup after the long seven-month offseason, and then get down to business as they battle for starting jobs.
Training camp’s also around the time fans receive a glimpse into NFL locker rooms on HBO’s hit series “Hard Knocks,” with the Houston Texans the squad under the microscope this year. The show won’t premiere until Aug. 11, a couple of weeks into camp, but fans can still check out their favorite squad when camps are open to the public on select days.
Here’s a list that includes most of the start dates and every location for training camps for all 32 NFL teams. A few notes: 12 teams have yet to determine or announce the exact start of camp, but we do know the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will be the first teams to get going with players expected to report on July 25. And right now the Philadelphia Eagles will be the last on Aug. 2, and the Indianapolis Colts the day before.
Lastly two teams opted to hold their camps well outside of even their general tristate area. The New Orleans Saints will head all the way to West Virginia for the second straight year, while the Dallas Cowboys once again take over Oxnard, California.
