NFL Week 1 Point Spreads 2012: Betting Lines for the First Week of Games
The 2012 NFL Season doesn't get underway for another four months, but you can already start gambling on the first week of games.
The betting lines for the Week 1 matchups have been released by certain sportsbooks.
The defending Super Bowl champion Giants open up the season as 3.5 point favorites at home against the Cowboys. New York is one of 13 home teams that are favored in the first week.
Oddsmakers are already expressing the impact they think Peyton Manning will make with the Broncos. Denver is favored by two points against Pittsburgh. That's about a 10 point difference from when the two teams faced off in the playoffs this past season.
